Tomates farcies

This is one of the most typical french home dish in summer.  I believe the origin is Nice, where the culture is half Italian.  I made the stuffing with ground beef, minced and sautee of onion, bread crumbs and one egg.

「トマトのファルシ」これはフランス家庭料理の夏の定番の一つ。トマトにハンバーグの中身のようなものを詰めてオーブンで焼いた。本来はハムで作るとよいらしい。イタリアントマトのような身が固いトマトで作ったらもっと美味しく出来るような気がする。
