Gateau au Hanamame


I had frozen cooked Hanamame beans from New Year to put in butter cake.  I used brown sugar for this cake and a bit of cognac which made the cake great fusion of Japanese sweet and French.

「花豆入りのケーキ」お正月用に煮た花豆の冷凍がまだあったのでケーキに入れて焼いた。黒糖を使い、コニャックで香りづけをした。和風とフレンチがうまく融合したケーキだと思う。
