I don't know the name of this fish but we have similer fish called "Sayori" in Japan but it's much smaller than this. I think it's the same kind so I made tempura with it. The fish is delicate white fish and it's delicious as tempura.
「大型サヨリの天ぷら」頭は危ないので落としてもらった大きなサヨリ。日本のサヨリとは種類が違うかもしれない。切り身を棒状にして天ぷらにした。さっぱりとして繊細な白身で味はとても美味しかった。
