Yukari is red shiso leaves marinated in Umeboshi; sour plums vinegar and dried in the sun afterwords. This goes exceptionally well with Japanese rice, especially for Obento. I made Umeboshi this year so it comes with it. It has more fragrance and is less salty than the one you buy.
「手作りゆかり」梅干しの紫蘇を梅干しと一緒にせずにゆかりにした。市販のものより香りが良いし、塩辛くない。今年は少し味の素も入れたら旨味も増していい感じ。
