Preservatives in August

"Pesto, blueberry jam"

I made these two preservatives lately one is pesto with basil leaves and jam with blueberries.  Basil leaves are sold in large bunch during the season so it's good to make pesto.  Pine nuts are very expensive in Japan so I use different nuts.  Blueberries are relatively cheap in the Aso so I bought many from there.

「８月の保存食」萌の里で大量のバジルが１２０円だったのでその日に使った以外はジェノバソースに。ブルーベリーも安いのだがとても酸っぱかったのでジャムに。
