St. Albans

St. Albans is a very pretty town of north London which is famous for the Abby, though it was under reconstruction for now.  This is one of the Roman city in England.  The town keeps many of its traditional houses.  There is also a famous waffle house.

「セント・アルバンズ」フィンチリーの北にあるローマ帝国時代の町。大聖堂が有名だが、現在改装中だった。古い町並みが残っていてとても可愛らしい町だ。

地元で有名で人気のワッフルの店があり、週末には行列ができるらしい。美味しかったが、甘さも盛り付けもとてもイギリス的なところが印象的だった。
