Chinese congee


I love Chinese style congee.  Japanese congee is usually made only with rice and water but Chinese congee is more like thick soup.  I made this with chicken and dried shrimp stock.

「中華粥」これは少し日本のおじやっぽい中華粥。本来、中華粥は2時間程、米粒がなくなるまで煮る。鶏と乾燥エビのだし。中途半端なものを作ってしまったので、ピータンと塩豚肉の薄切りの普通の香港のおかゆが余計に食べたくなった。
