My mother brought me green peas from Japan when she came here. I really love fresh green peas. This is a delicacy of spring for Japan and also France. Yet Japanese peas are very expensive for the weight.. package is small compares to the amount I was dealing in France which we opened the shells for kilos of kilos!
「グリンピースパスタ」少し前の料理。母が持ってきてくれた日本のグリンピースを煮てパスタにした。他にも色々入っているが、グリンピースの存在感が顕著でとても美味しかった。やっぱり冷凍品とは天地の差だ。香りも質感もとてもいい。
しかし日本の野菜は量に対して値段が高い。グリンピースはフランスでも春のごちそうだが、キロ単位で買う。おもてなしをした時に２キロくらい買って永遠に皮むきをしたのを覚えている。。
