Major street of Madrid has slightly unattractive compares to small streets, especially Gran via.  Many guidebooks say that this is the main shopping street but there is nothing to shop in this street.

「大通り」マドリッドの大通りや名所？はあまり魅力的でない。建物に統一性が無くて見た目があまり良くない。店も大衆的なつまらない店ばかり。その上ものすごく人が多い。

プエルタデルソルに関してはまるで共産国の広場で、今でも名所と言われる意味が分からない。そう言えば、バルセロナの「カタルーニャ広場」も同じくらいダサい。
