Museo del Prado

Prado Museum is considered one of the best museums in the world.  Their collection is huge but the most prominent works are nearing down to Goya, Velazquez, Rubens.  It's a big museum you need to select where you want to see.

We happened to see a special exhibition of the treasures of Versaille which was probably more impressive than the rest of the paintings...

「プラド美術館」規模と収蔵数で世界有数の美術館。残念ながら外壁は工事中で見た目が悪かった。ゴヤ、ヴェラスケス、ルーベンスなどの絵が有名。他は宗教画が多い。有名な画家だけ観るように回っても、結構時間がかかるし、歩かなければいけない。

偶然だが、特別展の「ヴェルサイユ宮殿の装飾品」が驚くほど美しくて素晴らしかった。フランスでもみた事がないものだったので、ラッキーだった。ここも事前にチケットをオンラインで購入することをおすすめする。
