Amakusa Porcelain at Traditional Craft Centre

There was a special exhibition of porcelains from the Amakusa Islands of Kumamoto the other day.  The craft centre always holds special exhibitions but it only lasts for a week so it's important to go there on the first or the second day.

「天草陶器展」伝統工芸館で開催されていた天草展。私は天草は陶丘工房のものが特に好きで、釜にも一度行ったことがある。ここはコーヒーカップが最高なのだ。持ち手が気持ちよく形がとても良い。今回は蕎麦猪口も購入した。これはヨーグルトを頂く時に使おうと思っている。
