Antique Ohinasama

 

I went to see a special exhibition of antique Hina dolls at Kumamoto City Museum.  Ohinasama all looked very different from which era the dolls were made, most significantly different from our modern version.

Besides this exhibition, I walked through the museum's regular exhibition side of "Nature of Kumamoto" and the "History of Kumamoto" which I haven't been visiting since I was like ten years old.  It was surprising to me how interesting all these in adult's eyes.

「熊本のお雛様展」博物館で展示されているお雛様を観に行ってみた。かなり古いお雛様達は時代によって造りや表情が違い興味深い。

それも良かったが常設展の熊本の歴史や自然の展示物がとても興味深かった。博物館に行ったのも小学生以来だったかもしれない。現在外装の工事中であまり環境は良くないが久しぶりに行ってみて良かった。
