I love going to this festival so whenever I'm in Kumamoto in this season I go there more than once. I went there on the first day of the festival because the weather was super nice. I've read on the official site that this festival is taking place in Kumamoto for four hundred forty years..!!
「熊本春の植木市」この催しものが大好きでこの時期に熊本に居る時は必ず出かける。今回は初日に行ってみた。とにかく天気の良い日だったので気持ちがいい。白川という街を流れる大きな川の川沿いが会場になっているので散歩しながら行くのも良いし、その場所自体も気持ちがいい。今年はコロナの影響で出店が少ないようだが、植木は相変わらずたくさんあって楽しい。開催中には何度か行くつもり。
今回サイトをみて発見したのだが、この催しは熊本で４４０年以上前から続いているということをみて驚いた。起源は１５７３年にさかのぼるそうだ。
