My good friends in Hong Kong and I got together in a hot pot this time. San xi lou which used to be in midlevel, made a shop in Times Square in CWB though the service was terrible.... it started as they didn't recognize our reservation that made in person by my friend earlier days ... because they don't speak English on the phone..
Yet the soup and the dumpling was good. My friend was not happy with the pork, it was too small which I agreed. I really enjoyed it because I cannot make this dish at home.
「火鍋・三希樓」香港のお友達との再会は冬ということで火鍋。火鍋は自分では全く食べない料理なので嬉しい。以前ミッドレベルにあったこの店は最近タイムズスクエアに出店したのだが、ひどい英語の通じなさ。お友達がわざわざ来店してまでした予約してくれたのに、通っていななかった。。しかしなんとかなった。
スープは四川のスパイスが効いていてとても美味しかった。お友達は豚肉が小さすぎるとの感想。自分ではできない料理なので、とても良かった。
