Janome sushi

We went to one of the famous Sushi restaurants in Amakusa Hondo.  I've never been to Hondo which is the main city of the Amakusa island.  The island is very known as it's fresh fish in Ariake ocean.

Sushi of Janome sushi was excellent.  It was a different style from sushi of Tokyo but they were wonderful with extremely fresh fish.

「蛇の目寿司」天草・本渡にある寿司屋。天草本渡は熊本市内からドライブで２時間強かかる。海が美しく、魚が美味しい街だが、遠いので日帰りではなかなか足を伸ばすことが出来ない。今回は朝早く出発して日帰り旅行をした。

お寿司はとても美味しかった。東京の寿司とも福岡の寿司とも違う、独特なものだ。シャリは甘くなく、若干柔らかいが、ネタの鮮度と美味しさがピカイチだった。東京の寿司のように計算されたものではなく、田舎風だが素晴らしく美味しかった。

鯛の味噌汁もとても美味しかったし、デザートのぜんざいも好きだ。連休明けの平日でも一杯だったので、要予約。サービスも温かくとても良かった。また行きたいと思う。
