Kikuchi Shrine walk in April

 

Kikuchi shrine is one of the most sacred shrines in Kumamoto.  I feel some attachment to this place because my family originally comes from this region.  The shrine located at the top of the hill surrounding Momiji and Sakura trees of this region to overlook the entire place.  

Spring green of new leaves brings fresh airly atmosphere on the warn and sunny spring day.  It was a perfect day to enjoy April in the countryside.

「菊池神社」４月７日、今年は開催されなかっただろうと思われる桜まつり後の菊池へ散歩と日帰り温泉へ行ってきた。この頃は若い新緑の出始めの時期で、少し涼しい風と若葉の黄緑色の木々の中を散歩するのがとても気持ちよかった。
