Yellow green and Sky blue

These photos are taken in early April when new leaves of the season were just started to appear.  I've found that these two colours of yellow-green and blue sky are the colours of Japanese spring, especially yellow-green of leaves is a very special colour of this region of Japan.

I especially love the Camphor tree which is Kumamoto's symbolic tree that grows everywhere in Kumamoto.  They smell nice and looks magnificent.

「黄緑と青空」４月上旬の写真。楠の新緑は黄緑色でとても美しい。青空に映える黄緑はアニメの風景画にあるようなとても日本独特の自然の色だと思う。この色の組み合わせは他の国にはあまり無い。フランスの春も新緑が綺麗だが春は曇りが多く、あまりすっきり晴れる日が少ない。

クスノキは熊本の県木で県民にはとても馴染みのある木。熊本には何処にでもあり、樹齢の長い木はかなり大きくなる。夏になると緑が濃くなりブロッコリーのようにモクモクと茂る木になるが、春の若葉が黄緑色でとても綺麗。ちなみにシンガポールのタイガーバームの原料のカンファーはクスノキを精製したオイル。カンファーの香りもすっきりリラックス出来るので好き。
