End of the year Soba

 

It's a tradition for the Japanese to eat Soba at night of 31st December.  We bought the ones from Yufuin; Ohita this time but it was not good at all.  I should have bought the ones from Shinshu; Nagano.

「年越しそば」年末の準備は買い出し、お節作りと順調で全てうまく事が進んでいたが、年越しそばのチョイスを間違えてしまった。湯布院のそばというものを買ったら美味しくなかった。考えてみれば湯布院は蕎麦処でもないし、出汁が美味しくないのだ。信州の蕎麦を買うべきだった。最後に失敗！
