Extrem vegetables

I've found the taste of vegetables in Kumamoto those I bought in Aso are extremely good. Its' freshness and the soil is different from other ones that I buy from a regular supermarket.  People here may not notice the difference but coming from a country where vegetables are only imports, locally produced vegetable tastes completely different.  They're juicy and sweet. 

「阿蘇で買った野菜」阿蘇で買った野菜の美味しさが異常なレベルだと思った。熊本は農業が主力産業なので野菜はどこで買っても美味しいのだが、美味しさのレベルが違うと思った。その新鮮さと土地のよさ。野菜が瑞々しくてハリがある。そして甘い。しゃぶしゃぶが最高に美味しい。

熊本に長く住んでいるとあまり分からないかもしれないが、シンガポールの様に野菜の全てが輸入品という都市国家に住んでいると美味しさの違いがはっきりと分かる。そして日本の食材は料理に手間をかけずに美味しくなる。
