Chili crab is one of the national dish of Singapore. It's very good but I personaly don't like this dish. The reason is because you have to eat it with your hands when you eat it. It's oily and greesy and I really don't like using hands to eat.
However I had a thought that if I made it and removed the crab meat out of shells before eating, it would be better for us. The result was only ok because I crushed the shells with a chopper, small shells got into the crab meat and they were very bothering.. Though I made the sauce for the first time it was not too difficult. The taste was excellent.
「チリクラブ」シンガポールの代表グルメであるチリクラブ。シンガポールに観光に来る人は絶対お勧めする料理だが、私はこれが嫌い。味より手で食べるということが嫌いであまり食べたくない。
それでも自分で料理して、殻から身を外せばいいのではないかと思って挑戦してみた。レシピにも興味があった。蟹はティカマーケットに朝行き、大振りで新鮮なものを買ってきた。レシピはMeatmenのもの。
しかし、爪などを割る時に殻のくずが入ってしまって、口当たりが悪かった。味は味噌がたっぷりソースに移ってとても濃厚で美味しかった。色々と改善してまたリベンジしたい料理。
