Meat Balls in Worcestershire Sauce

 

Worcestershire sauce is a popular sauce in Japan not the original English one but the Japanese.  So-called "Sauce" taste is very special to some Japanese food, such as Okonomiyaki, Yakisoba, Tonkatsu.  This sauce taste varies depending on the brands and I used the most popular one called "bulldog".

「ウスターソース・ミートボール」豚肉のミートボールをウスターソースで味付けしたもの。みりんを少し入れてとろみを付けた。ウスターソースにとろみを付けたものを中濃ソースと言うらしいが、私はウスターソースの方がスパイシーな感じがして好き。

砂糖やケチャップで子供味に調節してもいいが、今回は少し辛めの大人味。ビールに合う夏っぽい料理。
