This is one of my favourite Hong Kong's local dish. You can easily make it at home as long as you have Chinese sausage. I don't think you can replace this sausage with other sausages because Chinese sausage has a very special sweet taste.
It's also important to pour some water in the pot before cooking so that the clay pot won't break with the heat.
「香港土鍋ご飯」これは香港のローカル料理で私が好きなものの一つ。中華香腸(ソーセージ)があれば家でも簡単にできる。ただ、中華ソーセージはその独特の甘い味がこの料理の決め手なので欠かす事が出来ない。土鍋は壊れないように、ご飯を炊く前に水を張っておくと良い。
