We went to the supermarket to prepare Christmas dish and I was surprised to see the amount of gorgeous food; varieties of seafood, shellfish and varieties of poultry there.
「クリスマス前」クリスマスにフランスに行くのは約１０年ぶりだったが、この時期のフランスの食材の豪華さと多さに驚いた。クリスマスは日本で言えばお正月と同じで一年で最も豪勢にお祝いする祝日だが、田舎でもこれほど多くの食材が集まるのかと思った。
蟹や伊勢海老、オマール類、帆立や牡蠣などの貝類などが山の様に積まれていた。さすが食の国！
