Pumpkin penne


Japanese pumpkin tastes much sweeter than American squash or French potiron.  I usually like to cook it in milk with a cube of chicken stock to make a soup.  Today I made a sauce then pour it over boiled penne.  I put some cheese on the top then grilled it in the oven.

「かぼちゃのペンネ」日本のかぼちゃを牛乳とチキンストックで煮て、茹でたペンネにかけ、さらにチーズをかけて焼いたもの。ペンネでなくてもマカロニで良いと思う。日本のかぼちゃは味が濃くて美味しい。
