Lettuce is one of the ingredients that are used to make fried rice in Japan but I think this goes very well with rice. It must be cooked in a Chinese wok so that the water from lettuce doesn't come out to make the rice soggy.
「桜エビとレタスの炒飯」炒飯にレタスを入れるのは本当によく合う。米が軽くなるし、鉄火で作ると水分も出てこない。桜エビは日本のものだが、最近値段が上がっているそうだ。
