Roasted Chicken with Lettuce Dal

I've been studying Indian cuisine for a while, it's a fascinating cuisine to learn.  Yet we cannot eat much spicy food, I've been implementing our cuisine in my own way.  I cooked Indian lettuce with dal for the bottom of the roasted chicken leg.  "Dal" is lentil of Indian cooking term.

「ローストチキンとレタスダル」ダルとはインドのレンズ豆の料理。本来はスープっぽくさらっとしたものだが、レタス入りなどのものがある。シンガポールのインド料理のホーカーなどで食べてみたものなどを参考に、少しフレンチ風に作ってみた。

使ったスパイスは写真にのせていないが、チリ以外のコリアンダー、フェネル、ターメリックなど。あまりカレー風味を出さずにフレンチのレンズ豆の煮物のようなさっぱり目にしてみた。
