Semi-dried salt salmon is one of the most popular food to go along with Japanese white rice. It's the best made with Wild salmon of Hokkaido though since I can only buy farm-grown salmon of Norway here I made salt marinated salmon with it.
I didn't take much time only a few hours this time but if I take two days or so for the marinade, it might be better.
「お手軽塩シャケ」シンガポールには養殖鮭しかないので、塩を強めにした塩シャケを作ってみた。塩をきつめにふって水分を出すと少し旨味が増す。しかし3時間くらいしか塩をしていないので、次回はもう少しじっくり作ってみようと思う。日本では季節に出る北海道のシャケで料理と良いと思う。酒をふったりして味も調節してみようと思う。
